Kishore kumar, a son of rich father loves a girl Nimo (Vyjayantimala) whose father Sevaram is a bank manager. Kishore’s father agrees with Sevaram for Kishore’s and Nimo’s marriage on a condition that he will get Dahej from him.
Sevakram gets injured because of faulty material used in his house. Kishore is blamed and sent to jail, because of what was done by Sevakram’s older brother. On the other side Kishore’s father also thinks that his son has done wrong.
But, Nimo finds out the truth. And kishore later on brings the truth out. Polices catches the guilty. Kishore’s father realizes his mistake and apologies. He returns the dahej back.
Rungoli is a story nicely accompanied by Kishore Kumar’s comedy and songs.
