Love ‘86 is a youthful, musical entertainer, and at the same time it has a social message for people of all ages. Set against the background of modern time, the film reflects the aggressiveness of today’s youth. The story reveals how two educated and unemployed teenagers on the verge of becoming thugs for want of jobs, are molded into fine human beings. The new life brings in them the courage to fight for the truth. They fall in love with two girls, whose mother, a firm believer in neo-rich culture, doesn’t want her daughters to be associated with non-entities. She bars their all activities. The girls revolt against the high headedness of their mother and walk out of the house to join the boys. For them love is poignant.
