JULIE: Julie is a story about a Christian girl (Laxmi) who lives with her mother, a strict and religious lady and her lovable father who is an alcoholic. She falls deeply in love with her best friend’s brother Shashi (Vikram), whose mother is also a very religious mother. Conflict arises after these two lovers share a passionate night and Julie falls pregnant and Shashi leaves for Calcutta. Julie is forced by her mother to move to another city and give up her newborn child. Julie does as her mother wishes, returning back home when Shashi asks for her hand in marriage.
